This is a great, warm sleeping bag! That said, we purchased 2 of these at rei, then end up returning them. They are short from the crotch to the shoulders, meaning, if you raise your arms, your crotch area will get tighter. The rei rep told us that was a common complaint.I repurchased on amazon just for camping. It's still tight but warm and I'll just use it to sleep in.Want to visit outdoors in the winter? Google "Selk bag" - altho I think they should be called Selk SUIT since it does have fitted legs. I bought the Original Selk suit - MORE puffy, more insulated. They also have a "Lite" version - not quite as puffy - which might be right for some folks. Includes zip-off booties if you want to wear it inside your sleeping bag! Disadvantage - better hope it is warm where you need to pee!I already did visit outdoors from 7 to 9 PM wearing mine and was quite comfortable, altho my nose did get very cold! I plan to travel to the Arctic Circle in January and bought mine for the trip. It is VERY cozy! This product is soft and warm. It doesn’t fit as well as I hoped. I’m 5ft 7.5 and ordered my size accordingly. With the booties on-the seam is too tight ( feels too short) and maneuvering is cumbersome. With the booties off it’s better. Plenty of space other than length- roomy in every way other than length, and the next size up was way too large.I’d seen this product on Instagram for a while, and eventually I decided to buckle and drop money on one. This human-shaped cocoon is WARM. Maybe too warm because there are some times where the heat is trapped so well, I’m practically radiating heat when I take it off.Not a deal breaker in the least.I keep the feet on for the most part but it’s nice to have the option to take them off, slap on some sneakers and go get the mail. It’s like wearing a giant hug at times with just how puffy this thing is. From the legs all the way up to the hood which is one of the best parts, it’s incredibly warm and thick. And I also like the ends of the sleeves how they just fold over when you don’t need to use your hands.Honestly, it’s easily the most ridiculous thing I’ve worn, but for days off during COVID this winter, this is perfect at-home attire.I picked this up for the wife as a Christmas gift this past December. She is always cold at night after her shower. She drys her hair, gets dressed and zipped this body sleeping bag on. She is so comfy, warm and happy. One down side; once on, mister sand man shows up quickly.I will use it up North at our camper in the late Fall. I turn my oil furnace heat down in the evening to 60 and wear this suit. I stay nice and warm. I love it!Great for everything from lounging around camp to sleeping in! I’m 6’3” and the booties don’t work with it because the legs are about 4 inches to short… but I never needed them anyway. This Selk’ bag is amazing! It’s an adult blanky; so comfortable and warm. I live in a bus with solar power so I love drinking some hot Chamomile tea lounging on my memory foam futon/bed and then curling up in my comfy “body bag”. It’s easy to move in (I got the L, yet I’m small to med. it works perfectly. I don’t bother with the zip on feet, bit ya never know. Some day I might! Get this warmGarmet/sleeper bag. It’s awesome!!! Made very well. -Nori St. Paul #amwriting #vanlife #buslife #rvlife #solarlife #veganlife #meditationlifeSince i saw Sam Rockwell in Duncan Jone's Moon in 2009 i have wanted a Selkbag. Not knowing who made it or where to get one from (or the funds to buy one) i waited patiently. I'm not really an Outdoors man so i cant speak to the Selkbags durability outside but for comfort and general indoor lazy use (which mine will be unless in the garden stargazing with the boots off wellies on because i saved up for ages to get one and I'm not destroying it) it is Absolutely brilliant. It feels like a clouds hug when your zipped up and inside, you never want to leave it. There are plenty of zips around the bag to let in air and taking the boots off is a great touch for comfort. As with all things there are slight issues like the main zip can be fiddly at times if you don't take the time to insure your not catching material as you go. Some of the tiny threads around it were a little out when i took it out of the bag so i will keep an eye on that. No need for summer so mine is back in the bag to keep safe (not so gracefully as I'm sure magic got it in in the first place so neatly) Otherwise exactly what i wanted, Worth every single saved penny looks great and my cats not afraid of me.I bought this for my disabled granddaughter for Christmas to wear when going for walks in her wheelchair or stroller. It was supposed to be for Christmas, but with the cold weather I though she might as well have it early. She loves it, it’s a perfect fit and she looks and feels so snug In it. The description did say from 4ft 11in luckily she is only 4ft 10in because it’s a perfect fit, it wouldn’t fit anyone taller.I use my Selk’bag after I have been sea swimming. It’s absolutely brilliant for warming me up. It’s very comfy and snuggly. You can take the feet off it so you can drive home whilst keeping warm.I love it.Incorrect sizing information - almost impossible to get any money back when returned (it cost £30 postage because they’re based in Jersey). Ended up losing effectively all my money. Not much warmer than a summer sleeping bag.To heavy and bulky for back packing. Not waterproof in the slightest.Should be £80.Too sweaty (not moisture wicking) for lounging around the house.
