I tried it on nuts and bolts and it slips off. It does not grab the sides with enough pressure slips right off. I have the other brand and works much better. I purchased this one because it spans a wide number of sizes. The "self-adjusting" wrench needs a lot of EXTREMELY AWKWARD manual adjusting to just get the head on the bolt --- and there is NO easy way to do it! You must extend your thumb out to push the head open (with no obvious "press here" or something like it) and cannot possibly open it to its full extent without two hands. Once you manage to get it seated on the bolt (after much, much, time - and trying to figure out if you are going clockwise or counterclockwise) it appears to manage to hold it — after ALOT of time and work and if you succeed the handle is too short for comfort and leverage. Vise-grips are much, much, faster! One of the WORSE (and expensive!) tools I ever used, or TRIED to use. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!! REALLY: you'll be sorry. The finish was very disappointing. The plastic handle felt cheap and the steel markings (etchings) were indistinct and awkwardly placed. I believe that it is made in India — nothing on the tool indicates the country where it was made — and takes a long, long, time to get.Use a USA made vise-grip instead (although most already sold out to China) if you can find one. Look for "Made in USA" on the tool pictures. Even in rotating views, most manufacturers hide that the tool is made in China. And none I've found actually state it!!!!!!!!!!! This tool does NOT have markings WHERE IT IS MADE!!! Total waste of money! Don't be sucked in.Great idea, not so great implementation. It looks nice, feels solid, shiney! But, it's not "ratcheting", it just makes a scraping sound when the jaws release on the return swing. Ratcheting, as one would experience with a socket wrench, is when a lever repeatedly hits a gear wheel, just as one would see in a winch when a little hammer jumps over gear teeth. In this way the turned object, be it nut, pipe, odd shaped fastener, etc, is always in contact with the jaws that hold it fast and do not require readjustment of those jaws on subsequent turns. The problem with this device is that it releases the jaws when cranking back to the start position, thus losing its grip on the nut and then supposed to reattach to said nut for the next turn. Problem is that it does not adequately grasp the nut again and requires the jaws to be reclamped. This renders the tool causing more trouble than it fixes. Too bad, it looks so beautiful!hello. I Recieved Well. Thank You.Very Handy, especially worked for few stripped nuts. Good replacement for bulky too kit. This is a giftHandy tools with good range of nuts sizes. Good designExcellent tool. Very handy and replaces 3 other tools. It's like 3 tools in one. Definitely recommend for everyone to have this one in your tool box.Terrible product. It simply doesn't work and gets jammed/snagged whilst trying to open jaws. Not even worth the scrap value.Disgusting cheap tat.Perfect for big nuts and bolts. Ratchets quite well. Super grip. Could open up my long time rusted nut with ease. Was good to know that the Nylon handle gives insulation.Good product and seller, fast shippingIt's a used product, many rust on the product.
